Supports Black and White Night Vision and NIR Illumination

In Night Scene mode, the Zenmuse H30 Series zoom camera supports IR Light for infrared enhancement and NIR illumination. [5] It switches the live feed to a grayscale image by removing the IR filter, thereby strengthening the contrast between light and dark areas, making it easier to locate subjects. When the NIR auxiliary light is enabled, the zoom camera can benefit from additional NIR illumination, which is especially helpful for covert night surveillance and search-and-rescue operations.

1280×1024 Infrared Resolution

The infrared thermal camera boasts a resolution of 1280×1024, 4× the previous generation, [6] with up to 32× digital zoom. This allows for both an overview of the entire scene and the ability to zoom in on specific areas. At higher zoom levels, the Zenmuse H30T automatically activates a UHR (Ultra-High Resolution) Infrared Image function, [7] ensuring the infrared images remain clear.

High-Res Mode
for Precise Observation

Zenmuse H30T supports three infrared gain modes: High Gain mode for more precise temperature measurement, Low Gain mode for a wider temperature measurement range, and the new High-Res mode, [8] which is especially useful for observing objects, people, or animals with small temperature differences, making it highly practical for security, emergency, and search-and-rescue operations.

The Zenmuse H30T’s zoom camera and infrared thermal camera support Link Zoom, allowing operators to scale the visible light and thermal images in tandem and maintain the same viewpoint. This side-by-side comparison of image details helps locate the subject faster, increasing efficiency while saving effort.

Temperature Measurement Range from -20° to 1600° C (-4° to 2912° F)

With the installation of an infrared density filter, [9] the infrared thermal camera can measure temperatures up to 1600° C (2912° F), 3× the previous generation. [10] This is particularly useful for firefighting and high-temperature operations as it allows for more effective judgment of temperature changes and rapid locating of hotspots, increasing rescue efficiency.

Smarter Multi-Scenario Operations

In Smart Capture mode, the Zenmuse H30 Series zoom and wide-angle cameras automatically assess the brightness of ambient light and the dynamic range, and apply intelligent image algorithms. This ensures the output of photos with natural transitions between light and dark and rich details, even in environments with high dynamics, strong light, or low light.

In conditions such as smog or high atmospheric humidity, the Zenmuse H30 Series zoom camera employs a new Electronic Dehazing function [11] to enhance image clarity. It offers low and high dehazing levels to suit different operational environments and requirements.

More Reliable Information Sync and Retention

All cameras of the Zenmuse H30 Series, including the zoom, wide-angle, and infrared thermal cameras, support pre-recording. They can retain footage from 10, 15, or 30 seconds before the formal recording starts, ensuring a more complete record and capturing key information that may otherwise be quickly lost.

The Security Code function allows for the encryption of microSD cards, fully protecting your files. AES-256 encryption technology ensures the security of data transmission between the remote controller and the aircraft. Additionally, it supports one-click log clearance to prevent information leaks.

Operators can check live views from the Zenmuse H30 Series through the cloud platform on DJI FlightHub 2 to stay up to date with on-site dynamics. This enables rapid remote command and facilitates coordinated air-to-ground operations.

4/3 CMOS, Mechanical Shutter

Pixel size has been enlarged to 3.3 μm, and effective pixels now reach 20 MP, resulting in a significant improvement in overall imaging, as well as more enriched true-color point cloud details. The minimum photo interval has been reduced to 0.7 seconds. The mapping camera has a shutter count of up to 200,000 times, further reducing operational costs. When point cloud collection is not needed, the RGB camera can still take photos and videos, or collect images for visible light mapping.

During operation, DJI Pilot 2 supports three display modes – RGB, point cloud, and point cloud/RGB side-by-side display, presenting operational results in an intuitive way. Activating RNG (Laser Rangefinder) enables access to the distance information between the LiDAR module and the object in the center of the FOV, enhancing flight safety. It also supports four real-time point cloud coloring modes – Reflectivity, Height, Distance, and RGB.

After the operation, the 3D point cloud model [7] can be viewed directly in the album. 3D Point cloud models of multiple flights can also be merged, enabling on-site decision-making regarding operational quality.

After point cloud data collection, the DJI Pilot 2 app will automatically generate a Task Quality Report [8] so that operators can check operational results in real-time and on-site, making fieldwork more responsive and worry-free.

Achieve efficient and reliable one-stop post-processing when importing point cloud data into DJI Terra. Generate a standard-format 3D point cloud model with just a click after point cloud trajectory calculation and accuracy optimization. Upon ground point classification, using Ground Point Type, a DEM can be output. Point cloud quality can be analyzed with the Accuracy Control and Check function.

In complex operational environments, users can set up RTK base stations before the operation to preemptively avoid the loss of RTK data due to interference, video transmission disconnection, or other issues. After the operation, import original files into DJI Terra to use the PPK (post-processing kinematic) process to rebuild high-precision models.
